Get re-using!
Ever wondered what to use all those Tetra-Paks for? Those ones that can't be recycled in your street recycling but have to be taken somewhere special. Which means, at least in my house, that they inevitably start piling up. Well, we've started using them for growing salad. Check out our vertical recycled gardening...

Some instructions for you, who want to try this at home:
1. Cut off the top
2. Slice about two inches down each corner and then fold the sides down, into the pack.
3. Make a hole on one side, through this double layer. The hole should be big enough to allow the head of a nail to go through. This makes them strong enough to hang on a nail.
4. Hammer a nail into where you want to put it.
5. Make a small hole in the bottom for drainage. We have found that they don't need too much drainage as you don't want all the water to pour out immediately. Some of our earlier ones lost all the water too quickly. (though you could put others below to catch the water that drains out...)
5. Fill with compost.
6. Pop your seedling in.
7. And hang on the wall.
8. Make sure you keep watering.
